Need For Speed: The Run je novi nadolazeći naslov u NFS serijalu, radi ga EA Black Box studio koji je radio i ostale NFS-ove slične tematike, ulične vožnje tipa Underground 1 i 2, Most Wanted, Carbon, Undercover i sl.
Izlazak igre očekuje se 15. studenog 2011, za PC, Xbox360, PS3, Wii i Nintendo 3DS.
Igra će imati izmišljene likove i priču, punu akcije i uzbuđenja, a EA kaže da će ovaj novi NFS biti "vožnja našeg života".
Još jedna zanimljivost je da će igru pokretati DICE-ov Frostbite 2 engine od kojeg se očekuje odlična grafika i unaprijeđena fizika.
