kako spriječiti Windows media player da mi pokreće instalaciju novije verzije prilikom svakog paljenja (želi instalirati devetku)?

Ako misliš na onemogućavanje update-a probaj slijedeće:
1. Start Registry Editor.
2. Locate the following key in the registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft
3. On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click Key.
4. Type WindowsMediaPlayer, and then press ENTER.
5. With the WindowsMediaPlayer key selected, on the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD Value.
6. Type DisableAutoUpdate, and then press ENTER.
7. On the Edit menu, click Modify.
8. Type 1, and then click OK.
9. Close Registry Editor.

Ovo mi nije pomoglo i dalje mi prilikom paljenja media playera pokreće setup devetke.
