Is my copy of Guild Wars 2 tied to my region?

Yes. To play from North America you must purchase a North American copy of the game.

To play from Europe you must purchase a European copy of the game.

Note that this restriction impacts where you can play from, not which game worlds you can choose to play on.

NAPOMENA: Ja sam takodjer kupio sa navedene stranice delux izdanje za 50ak dolara. Za svaki slucaj sam poslao upit Anet podrsci da mi provjere da li je igra (a koju sam vezao za GW 1 racun zbog nagrada iz HoM) delux i EU verzija.

Dobio sam slijedeci odgovor: " The pre-purchase code is a US pre-purchase code. If this is not what you intended to purchase you may have received the code from an unauthorized vendor. In order to correct this issue you will need to contact the vendor that provided this code to you. Please be sure to visit an authorized retailer."

Izgleda da reklamiraju US verziju igre kao EU verziju sa ovakvih i slicnih "neovlastenih" stranica. Nakon toga sam isao porazgovarati sa prodavacem i rekao je da sam ja prvi koji se zalio na to i da su svi mogli igrati betu iz Europe i da ne vidi problem a problem je u tome sto beta nema zakljucanu regiju ali ce finalni proizvod imati...

Na kraju sam posao u Algoritam i kupio igru.

p.s. nakon kupnje u Algoritmu poslao sam mail Anet-u da vidim mogu li dodati EU verziju igre na kojem je vec US verzija a koji je linkan sa GW 1 racunom i onim svim socnim nagradama iz GW 1 a odgovor je bio slijedeci: "Due to the way the registration system works, I do not believe you can stack a second pre-purchase code on the account. Your best option at this time is to create a new account using a different email.
Once we get closer to launch, you can contact us again and we will assist you with removing the Guild Wars account from your current Guild Wars 2 account which will then allow you to link it to the newly created account. Please note, at the moment we do not have this ability as our account management tools have not yet been completed."

Nadam se da ti je odgovor pomogao kao i potecijalnim kupcima sa slicnih stranica .

pa nisu u algoritmu popi*dili pa da prodaju us verzije...

ma samo kazen...

mislim da zdravorazumski zakljucuje.. jer se svi spajamo na iste americke servere?

Ja sam se spajao na Riverside, a ove USA mislim da nisam niti imao na popisu.

Imaš pravo, krivo mi je sjećanje ostalo. Ovo odgovara onome što je ArenaNet rekao, tj. da verzija (regija) igre označava lokaciju iz koje se može logirati a da se nakon toga može odabrati bilo koji server (US ili EU).

Po tome, logično mi je da za betu vrijede sva regionalna ograničenja kao i za punu verziju.

Ispričavam se na double postu, no Pre PURCHASE-o sam GW2 jucer .

Aktivirao sam uspješno account EU naravno dobio sve podatke i to.

E, sad... Zanima me da li moram cekat do neke bete da downloadam igru, ili vec mogu sad negdje pa da samo uletim u betu?

Valjda će konačno moja konfa izvlačiti pristojan broj sličica u sekundi.

EDIT: otvorio sam ticket prema Anet-u pa sam ih usput pitao kakva je situacija sa region lockingom igre i ovo su odgovorili (napisao sam da sam čitao da se očekuje da će finalni release biti region locked što se tiče logina):

Nije open, samo za one koji su napravili prepurchase (platili igru unaprijed) ili one koji su uspjeli nabaviti key (primjerice PC Gamer ih je dijelio).

odlicno... bit ce manje laga pa cu moc u miru isprobat thiefa...

Najviše me raduje to što je datum eventa odličan.
